I am in the process of looking for an executive assistant.  Here is the link to the job posting:

Not only am I looking for a great candidate to fill it, I think it is a great job.

It is much more than an administrative position.  Of course there are some administrative aspects to it, but I am much more interested in hiring someone that can help me execute the vision we have for HSI.

The position is really about the schedule.  This involves putting me in the right places at the right times with the right people.  This is how we will accomplish everything that is set before us.  Most all the communication centers around building and executing the schedule and includes customers, key suppliers, partners, political officials and plenty of additional interesting people as well.

Another exciting aspect of the schedule is that it happens in some pretty incredible locations.  With a division in San Diego, sometimes we must travel and execute the schedule in sunny southern California.  With a development office in Madison, WI, sometimes we must travel and execute the schedule from there.  Other times at a coffee shop in OKC.  Then of course, a lot of the time just in the office.

But what really sets the position apart is that since I see it as an executive assistance role, my assistant is integral to the strategy.  My assistant is not only setting up these meetings, but part of many.  My assistant is privy to the vision and strategy as it is created.  They attend HSI board meetings.  They attend almost any meeting on the schedule that they feel is valuable to them.  Usually, my assistant is the first to know what I am thinking, then gets to participate as we collectively work to execute the vision.  My assistant lives in the epicenter of these exciting times.

The future of HSI is strong and we are not only doing some incredible things, are on the verge and have plans to do many more!  So if this sounds intriguing, interesting, challenging, fun, and fulfilling, then click the link, check out the job and submit your resume.

Then come help me build something awesome!
