Can I Have A Minute to Think?

The number one thing that stresses me out, is not knowing what to do next.  Therefore, I need a plan.  Anytime the world feels like it is coming at me fast or I am out of control, the best solution for me is to take a minute to think.

It happened again this week.  I was getting calls, requests for meetings, questions that required decisions, etc just like I do every week.  However, I did not feel like I had my thoughts in order, making me very stressed.

It was amazing how much better I felt after sitting down for a few minutes, writing down all my priorities, then setting it aside.  I reviewed it again a few hours later to make sure it was complete.  Since then I have been free to boldly work on what I know to be the priority of the moment.  My stress level has dropped and effectiveness increased.

I just needed a minute to think.
