Go Make It Happen

My grandfather’s philosophy when he started the business was if we had a great product, people would find us. This was true then, has been over time and still is. However, if we truly want to grow and get better, it will not be sufficient. This sentence accurately summed up the culture for many years. We waited for customers to call. We let customers specify every minute detail, even when we were the experts and knew better. We were somewhat passive with internal projects as well, often taking our time or waiting for everything to align perfectly before starting. The decision making culture had taken on a top down structure with minor elements needed management approval to move forward.

Enough of this slow business. It’s time we go make it happen! This is not an excuse to run in a thousand directions at once. It is permission to take ownership and run hard at the top goals and strategic objectives that have been established. We know what needs to be done. We know what will truly make a difference. Now let’s go do that and make it happen!
