I am humbled, honored and excited to speak to the Oklahoma Professional Sales Association on April 20th.

The short blurb I wrote about my topic is:

“HSI Sensing has now successfully transitioned to its third generation of family leadership. Each generation left its mark on the business, shaped its culture, strategy and achievements. Hear how we made the generational transitions (some good, some not so good), shifted the culture towards business growth, took on an acquisition and have positioned our company so that future performance looks to be our strongest ever.”

I am super excited to get to share the HSI story.  It is one of my favorite parts of my job.

The business really has evolved so much since its beginnings as an entrepreneurial startup to where it is today.  We are also squarely into the stage of business evolution where it exhibits many of the cultural characteristics I have been working towards.  I firmly believe that now is the most exciting time in our company history.  The pipeline is strong both for HSI and Genisco, our acquisition made in 2013.  That statement about the future looking to be stronger than ever is not a sales pitch.  It is not rhetoric or fluff trying to convince my team to be optimistic.  It is the honest truth of how I feel and what the numbers indicate!
