School Lunch
I had the joyful privilege of having lunch in the cafeteria with my son today. In case you were wondering, it was chicken & noodles, mashed potatoes, carrots, banana and roll (unfortunately not the flat, square pizza this time).
Not only does it warm my heart that he wants me to eat with him as he has been asking me every day since school started last week, but that I can model priorities and a work life balance for him. Who knows, maybe someday he will be leading the company with many conflicting demands for his time, complex relationships to manage and still make wise choices about what really matters. And what matters may still be saving time to each lunch with dad.
