Attending Leadercast with my entire team was such fun.  It was especially fun because we could discuss what we were hearing in real time.  We were all hearing the same thing.  One of my favorite takeaways was from Ed Catmull.  He stated that creative genius can never articulate exactly what they are setting out to make right at the beginning of the work.

I jumped right on this and made sure my team heard it.  They sometimes complain about how my vision, strategies or tactics evolve after we set an initial direction.  I continually respond that this is normal and natural.  I’m not sure they believed me, until now.
