Today we celebrate our success.  Today is the day we pass out our semi-annual bonus checks for the first half of the year.  It is always fun to take a moment and reflect on our accomplishments of the past 6 months, which have been plentiful.  The biggest challenge I am facing in this celebratory moment is the massive potential that exists with the next period.

It will definitely take some work and maybe some luck, but due to the potential that exists in our next success sharing period, we could be celebrating 2-3x the success.  This is why its a little hard to celebrate now because I am so excited about the potential of the next celebration.

On second thought, that sounds a little ridiculous.  I’m having trouble having fun at this party because the next party may be even better.  Its still a party right?  Maybe my goal should be to enjoy today for today and celebrate these achievements.  I will still be able to celebrate next time too.  I wouldn’t want to miss this one.
