Two for One Deal

One of the most exciting developments from last week was when we introduced one of our customers to another so they could work together.  We sell sensors to both customers.  Both work in the oil and gas industry.  Both happen to work on level detection, but one more continuous level monitoring and the other discrete position with controls.  So when Customer A told one of our sales staff about a problem they were having, it sounded to her a lot like what Customer B does well.  She approached Customer B with the idea of the introduction and described the problem.  Once the introduction was made, Customers A & B solved the problem (the solution just so happened to utilize our sensor).

That’s what I call a two for one deal.  We made two customers happy and solved one problem.  More typically problems come with one to one ratios of one customer, one problem, but this one was special.
